LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
CTJan27 School Of English And Mathematics, a lead provider of state-of-the-art educational coaching, was established in 2006 by innovative centre directors, Don and Thanusha Wickramasinghe.
The Centre offers a broad range of comprehensive tuition courses that cater to the diverse educational needs of students seeking extension/acceleration, examination focus and extra support outside of school hours.
At the centre, students’ creative, critical and analytical skills are developed and honed to an exceptionally high standard providing them with a sense of empowerment as they take charge of their learning.
SPECIALIST IN EXAM PREPARATION
During the past decade, we have steadily built a strong reputation as a specialist in exam preparation for Selective schools, scholarships to private schools, entrance exams for Accelerated Learning (SEAL) and High Achiever programs in Victorian secondary schools.
We have an annual success rate of above 50%. We pride ourselves with the acceptance of a majority of our students in prestigious schools, such as Melbourne High School, Mac.Robertson Girls' High School, Nossal High School, Suzanne Cory High School and John Monash Science School.

The Centre’s high student success rate is primarily due to the presence of highly conscientious and focused students with a positive disposition to learning as well as the consistent efforts of experienced, well-qualified and dedicated instructors.
Centre’s own design and development of course materials
Our Success is further complemented by the Centre’s own design and development of course materials and tests. Training the students to sit mock tests is a key feature of the course outline. Students also sit tests at the end of each term, hands over reports, and holds parent-teacher interviews.
Extra Assistance
Classes are also held free of charge for students who might need extra assistance in particular areas to improve learning outcomes. Furthermore, students have the advantage of getting in touch with the centre directors and teachers via email and phone, thereby facilitating regular two-way communication to better target student’s learning needs.
